INTRODUCTION


KSSY (kalinga sikhya sathi yojana) is a policy by odisha govt. which provides loans to students only of ODISHA (KALINGA) with a low interest rate of 1% with it will collect interest only for 5 years after moratorium period (period after completion of course or getting a job after moratorium period your EMI will be initiated) But in case of central policy your interest in minimum above 8% with full tune interest collection upto completion of all your EMIS. This is really a better option.

WHO CAN APPLY??

  1. Student should belongs to Odisha.
  2. Students pursuing professional courses in UGC/AICTE recognized institution.
  3. Your family's total income should be less than 6 lacks/anum.
  4. Student should not have other loan under this scheme. 

WHAT IS CONSTRAINTS WITH THIS LOAN SCHEME??


Unlike central scheme you can take maximum upto 10lacks of loan with this scheme. Nothing specified about colletoral in official website. I think colletoral like (gurrentor, property )it will be taken care according to your bank scheme in which you are applying.lijebin centrak scheme with nearly every bank upto 4 lacks  no gurrentor no colletoral, 4- 7.5 gurrentor is must above 7.5 property as colletoral is needed(it depends upon your bank, negotiable).

This question is of great confusion because in official website of dheodisha if you are choosing APPLY NOW it is taking you to vidyalaxm portal (official website by govt of India omfor education loan apply) and after applying you are not getting any option to apply in KALINGA SIKHYA SATHI YOJANA in search and apply section of Vidyalaxm portal.

So you have to apply in any scheme first and after getting its application Id visit to your applied bank (in search and apply section of Vidyalaxm ) meet the manager and tell him that you want to apply in Kalinga Sikhya Sathi Yojana or in some cases managers automatically forward your application In KSSY SCHEME. BUT WHY TO TAKE RISK.
