INTRO
Life at hostel here is pretty exciting and not at all monotonous unlike majority of the hostels now a days. This may be largely due to the low number of students in college, this allowed all the students (of UG and
PG programs) to be at a single hostel which highly enriched the quality of everyday interactions and also provided a vast perspective of looking at things after those interactions. By this I am pointing to a tradition which is lost in majority areas but still alive here involving the “Junior-Senior-Taboo” as one may call it now, personally I prefer it this way because growing up I didn’t have a lot of exposure like many others but this so-called taboo really opened me up and gave a big confidence boost.
NATURAL SUPPORTER : WEATHER
The weather here is an extreme. Winter temperature is around 6°C on an average so the morning is pretty much wrapped in pleasantness and if you are lucky, you may get a cherry on top with a sunny day. But everything has a silver lining while winters may bring you joy summers are just the opposite with a lot of heat and sweat coming your way, the afternoons are especially very discomforting but overall, with a bit of adapting you can get through with a big smile on your face. The mess here is quite satisfactory, you can get pretty much all the cuisines from India. The breakfast and evening snacks are the best of the treats and differ every day. Lunch and dinner are almost the same each day with a bit of changes on side dishes for lunch and sweet dishes for dinner.
